11/19/07- Verizon Launches Venus & Voyager Phones with Voice Genesis Vemail - Verizon Wireless launches its hot new LG Venus and Voyager phones equipped with Voice Genesis Vemail 2.0 (v2.09). “These phones offer customers some of the most exciting technology available today,” said Mike Lanman, vice president and chief marketing officer for Verizon Wireless. The Voyager features a large external touch-screen and opens to reveal a qwerty keyboard. The Venus offers dual external screens, with the bottom screen incorporating touch technology. 8/9/07 - Voice Genesis Launches Enhanced Alerts Service - Voice Genesis is pleased to announce the immediate availability of its enhanced Alerts service to all Voice Genesis Vemail users. This service sends text message Alerts to phones when new email is received. The Alerts typically contain the first 120-160 characters of the actual email. New enhanced Alerts features include the ability to (1) receive more of the email message by receiving several alert pieces, (2) receive text from attachments, (3) more control of the FROM address in the Alert.

The California Tech 100 is sponsored by the California Space Authority (CSA). "We want to honor and showcase the very best technology companies from the California Innovation Corridor region," said Andrea Seastrand, Executive Director of CSA. The California Innovation Corridor (stretching from Santa Clara to San Diego), led by the CSA and supported by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, was selected as one of 13 regions in the country to receive a $15 million U.S. Department of Labor grant.
