Vemail ® Mobile Email - Features
- View & Type Email - Vemail lets you easily retrieve and read your email with your cell phone. You can also type and send email of course. Vemail can retrieve email from most email accounts including Yahoo Mail, Gmail, Hotmail, MSN, Live, AOL, AIM Mail, Earthlink, most internet service providers, most other email accounts that come with POP or IMAP, and even Exchange or Notes/Domino with POP or IMAP. You can "link" Vemail to retrieve email and get Alerts for up to 20 email accounts.
- Speak Email - Want a faster, more powerful, and more convenient way to respond to email with your phone? If so, then Vemail is for you. With Vemail you can Speak Email. Most people can speak 20 times faster than they can type on a phone, and it's sure easier on the thumbs. When you speak email, your voice is recorded and delivered as a text email containing a voice-to-text transcript1 of what you said, as well as a copy of your recorded voice. For best results, speak slowly and clearly. Unintelligible messages or messages in languages other than English will contain your audio recording but no transcript.
- Get Alerts for New Email (Push) - Vemail has an Alerts feature that enables it to wake up on your phone when you have new email, giving you a Push Email experience. This feature uses a special kind of text message that wakes up the Vemail app (1 text for each incoming message), resulting in lighter data and battery use. Vemail contains this feature on all new Verizon Wireless and Alltel phones for which Vemail is available, as well as some smaller carriers. On the phones of other major carriers, the Alerts come through as regular text messages. You can set a schedule to turn off Alerts while you sleep, and you can also limit Alerts to just the people in your Vemail Address Book. The Alerts feature is optional. If you leave it off you can still Retrieve Email whenever you like.

Use the Vemail Address Book to easily address messages, place phone calls, and even filter Alerts. Existing Vemail users can access the Import Contacts feature by selecting Login at the top of this page. Once logged in, select Address Book.
- Read Email & Speak Replies - Use Vemail to read your email and speak replies and we think you'll agree that this is the fastest and easiest way of handling email on a mobile phone.

Up to the first 1 minute of each intelligible English voice message will be transcribed from voice to text. Unintelligible messages or messages in languages other than English will contain your audio recording but no transcript. Although there is currently no limit on the number of voice messages transcribed per user per month, Voice Genesis (the maker of Vemail) reserves the right to limit this feature in the future at its discretion and without refund. Voice Genesis makes no warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy of transcriptions and will not be held liable for any damages you incur as the result of inaccurately transcribed messages. Transcribed messages may be reviewed by humans to ensure transcription accuracy. To opt out of voice-to-text transcription and just have your recorded voice delivered when you speak email, go to www.vemail.com > Login > User Settings > set "Enable text transcription of your voice emails?" to No > Save. If you use Vemail and do not opt out, then you are agreeing to these transcription terms and conditions.
