Voice Genesis ® Vemail ™ Mobile Email - Features

  • Read Email - Vemail lets you easily read your email with your cell phone (see demo). It works with most email accounts including Yahoo Mail 1, Hotmail, AOL, AIM Mail, Gmail, MSN, Earthlink, most internet service providers, most other email accounts that come with POP or IMAP, and even Exchange or Notes/Domino with POP or IMAP. You can "link" Vemail to retrieve email from up to 20 email accounts.
  • Speak Email - Tired of typing email on your mobile phone? Just speak email to give your thumbs a rest. When you speak email your voice is recorded and sent as an email that contains a link, an attachment, and a toll free phone number. Recipients can either click the link, open the attachment, or call the number to hear your recorded voice. (see demo)
  • Type Email - You can also type email for those times when silence or text is preferred.
  • Get Email Attachments - You can hear audio attachments, view image attachments (version 2.09 only), and read text from document attachments. (see details)
  • Read Email & Speak Replies - Use Vemail to read your email and speak replies and we think you'll agree that this is the fastest and easiest way of handling email on a mobile phone. (see demo)
  • Import Contacts from Your Computer - The Vemail Address Book supports thousands of contacts (depending on your phone) and you can import contacts (BREW version) from Yahoo, AOL, AIM Mail, Windows Live Hotmail, Gmail, Microsoft Outlook & Outlook Express, Netscape, Mozilla, Thunderbird, Apple Max OS X, Act 2000, and others. Use the Vemail Address Book to easily address messages and place phone calls (BREW version). Vemail users can access this feature on our web site.
  • Get Text Message Alerts - Find out right away when you have new email with the optional Alerts service. Once activated, you'll receive a text message each time you have new email. The text message will actually contain the first part of the email. Text messaging rates apply. Vemail users can activate this feature on our web site.
  • Podcasts, Blog, Avatron, Picture, and more - Vemail comes with lots of additional free features, including Vmobcaster™ (receive, reply, forward, create podcasts), Vmoblogger ™ (speak entries from your phone to your blog), Avatrons ™ (have your spoken email delivered with an animated character lip synching your words), Picture (have your spoken email delivered with your picture). Vemail users can access these features and more on our web site.
  • Save Money - Smart phones like BlackBerry ® and Palm ® make creating email easier by giving you a mini keyboard. While Vemail can't make your phone sprout a keyboard, it does one better by letting you speak email. So, enjoy easy mobile email with Vemail on your standard cell phone for about $5/month2, instead of spending hundreds in up front and monthly costs on a BlackBerry, Palm, or other expensive Windows ® "smart" phone.
