Vemail ® Mobile Email - More Features

• Email Attachment Support - Word (.doc, .docx), Acrobat (.pdf), Rich Text Format (.rtf), and Excel (.xls, .xlsx) documents are converted to text for viewing. Image attachments (.jpg, .gif, .png, .bmp, .pdf) can be viewed. ¹ Audio attachments (.mp3, .wav) such as voice email messages, music tracks, and voicemail attachments, can be heard.
• Big Retrieve - When you Retrieve Email with Vemail you get up to 50 messages at a time, not 5 or 10 like some other mobile email services.
• Big Smart Inbox - The Vemail inbox will list up to 300 messages by default (configurable up to 1,000), much more than other services. The inbox list is stored on your phone for instant access. When it fills up, the oldest messages are no longer listed, so you don't need to bother deleting anything. Only the messages you select are downloaded, to save on data/airtime. Once downloaded, the message is stored (cached) on your phone so you can come back to it again instantly. The cache is automatically trimmed so it never takes up too much memory.
• HTML Email Supported - HTML email is automatically converted to text for easy viewing, unlike some other services that choke on HTML email and can't display it.
• Hear Voice Email - You can hear voice email messages sent to you by other Vemail users.
• Message Delete Sync - In newer versions of Vemail (2.10+) you can choose whether or not Vemail will attempt to sync your message deletions to your mail provider. This feature is Off by default, and can be enabled in Vemail -> Settings -> Message Management -> Message Deletion. In Vemail 2.09 and earlier, Vemail always attempts this sync.
• Clear Inbox - You can delete all the messages in your Vemail Inbox at once (start Vemail -> Main -> Settings -> Message Settings -> Clear Inbox). In this case, messages will NOT be deleted from your mail server.
• CC & BCC - Vemail has full support for CC & BCC when sending or receiving messages.
• Smart Reply - When you reply to email, your reply will automatically appear to be From the same email account the original message was sent to. You can also easily change the From address to match any of your linked email accounts.
• Forward & Reply All - Email forwarding and Reply All features are supported. The Reply All feature is limited to approximately the first 800 or so email addresses in each of the TO and CC fields in the BREW version and 50 in the Java version.
• Backup Contacts - The Import Contacts feature (on the Address Book menu in Vemail) can also be used to backup a copy of your Vemail Address Book to our web site. Do this before buying a new phone.
• Get Your Old Vemail Settings on Your New Phone - If you are an existing Vemail user and just bought a new phone and downloaded Vemail onto it, you don't have to configure Vemail all over again. Use Import Settings (on the Settings menu in Vemail) to get all your old settings back. Use Import Contacts (on the Address Book menu in Vemail) to get your Vemail Address Book back.
