How To Download

  1. Select Menu on your T-Mobile phone
  2. Select t-zones (may need to select it twice, you may need to first select Media)
  3. Select the Downloads tab (you may need to first select Home or Homepage or My Account)
  4. Select Games & Applications (on some phones you can skip this step)
  5. Select More Games & Apps (if you don't see this option, you need to call T-Mobile 1-800-937-8997 and get a data plan. The web2go unlimited data plan is now just $9.99/month)
  6. Select Vemail
  7. Select Accept (you may also need to select Download or Save) Pay close attention to where Vemail is saved so you can find it later.
    Common locations:
    • Menu -> Organizer -> Applications
    • Menu -> Fun & Apps -> Games
  8. Once your download completes, you can start the app on your phone and configure it there, or even better just select Configure at the top of this web page.

1 If you download Vemail from T-Mobile, the $4.99 monthly charge for Vemail will appear conveniently on your T-Mobile statement. If you download Vemail from getjar.com, you'll be able to use it free for two days after which time it will prompt you for your credit card number. You will need to have a T-Mobile data plan (such as web2go unlimited data for just $9.99/month) to use Vemail. The web2go unlimited data plan gives you unlimited web surfing and unlimited data transfer for other apps as well. If you have a limited data plan, figure at least 3MB/month for Vemail. Text messaging rates do not apply for Vemail, unless you activate the optional Alerts service on our web site. The Vemail version available at getjar.com does not support smartphones or qwerty keyboards and is unsigned; T-Mobile disables Java audio functions for unsigned apps on certain phones, which is why we let you try the getjar.com version of Vemail for free. To cancel Vemail, (1) start Vemail on your phone and select Settings then Subscription then Cancel Vemail, (2) delete the Vemail app off your phone. If you downloaded Vemail from T-Mobile then also call T-Mobile customer service at 1-800-937-8997 (or 611 from your T-Mobile phone) to make sure the Vemail subscription was canceled.
