Voice Genesis ® Vemail ™ Download Instructions
for nTelos Mobile Phones

NTelos offers the BREW version of Voice Genesis Vemail phone software. Follow these instructions to download it on your nTelos mobile phone. NTelos charges $4.99/month1 for Vemail and also offers a 1 day free demo. You can cancel at any time by deleting the Vemail software off of your phone.


How To Get Started

  1. On your nTelos mobile phone select Menu
  2. Select BREW
  3. Select Mobile Shop
  4. Select Catalog
  5. Select News and Info
  6. Select Vemail to download
  7. Configure

    After downloading, you can find Vemail in BREW:
     Voice Genesis Vemail 2.0 or Vemail VoiceEmail

Corrections



1 - As of 06/11/08, unless you have a data or text messaging package, nTelos also charges 3 cents per KB (1X network) or $1.99/MB (EVDO network) for data use and 15 cents per text message. Vemail will incur data usage when you send and receive. Vemail will only incur text messaging charges if you activate the optional Alerts feature on our web site. To avoid thes charges consider asking nTelos to sign you up for one or more of the additional packages below:

  • Light User - Checks email once/mo, reads 10 text email/mo, sends 3 voice & 3 text email/mo - Avg. Data Use: 101KB/mo
    Cost: $3.03/mo (1X) or $1.96/mo (EVDO) without the unliminted data package
    Recommendation: No need for the unlimited data package

  • Medium User - Checks email once/wk, reads 10 text email/wk, sends 3 voice & 3 text email/wk - Avg. Data Use: 438KB/mo
    Cost: $13.14/mo (1X) or $8.51/mo (EVDO) without the unlimited data package
    Recommendation: Right on the border. Get the unlimited data package if you have a 1X phone or think you'll be mostly using the 1X network or just want to play it safe.

  • Heavy User - Checks email once/day, reads 10 text email/day, sends 3 voice & 3 text email/day - Avg. Data Use: 3,030KB/mo
    Cost: $90.06/mo (1X) or $58.87/mo (EVDO) without the unlimited data package
    Recommendation: Get the unlimited data package!

  • Addict - Checks email 5x/day, reads 50 text email/day, sends 15 voice & 15 text email/day - Avg. Data Use: 15,150/mo
    Cost: $454.50/mo (1X) or $294.36/mo (EVDO) without the unlimited data package
    Recommendation: Get the unlimited data package!

  • send or receive 30 second voice email: 25KB

NTelos also offers the following text message packages. We recommend getting one of these only if you plan to turn on our optional text message Alerts feature on our web site.
