Voice Genesis ® Vemail ™ Download Instructions
for Cellular South Phones

Cellular South offers the BREW version of Voice Genesis Vemail phone software. Follow these instructions to get started and download it onto your Cellular South mobile phone. A charge of just $4.99/month will appear conveniently on your mobile phone statement, cancel anytime.1 (see footnote for details)


How To Download

  1. On your mobile phone select Menu
  2. Select BREW
  3. Select the shopping cart icon
  4. Select Communicate
  5. Select Vemail or Voice Genesis Vemail 2.0 or Vemail VoiceEmail to download
  6. Configure Vemail

    After downloading, you can find Vemail in BREW:
    Voice Genesis Vemail 2.0 or Vemail VoiceEmail

1 You don't need an expensive data plan to use Vemail. It just uses airtime (minutes) when you send and receive. For example, if it takes 1 minute to retrieve your email, then 1 of your plan minutes is used. Since minutes are so cheap these days, this approach makes Vemail much more affordable than products that require an additional data plan. If you don't want to worry about using minutes, Cellular South also offers unlimited use of BREW applications for $5.99/month with the Unlimited BREW Access Plan. Note: Cellular South may charge you a $5 one time activation free for BREW. For Vemail, text messaging rates do not apply, unless you activate the optional Alerts service on our web site or in the Vemail software on your phone.
Cancel Vemail anytime:
Vemail 2.10 or higher - to cancel, start Vemail on your phone and select Settings, then Cancel Vemail, then Yes (this will stop any Alerts/push email). Now delete the Vemail software off of your phone (this will stop billing).
Vemail 2.09 or earlier - to cancel, if you previously activated Alerts, then Login here and select Alerts, then Off, then Save. Now delete the Vemail software off of your phone (this will stop billing).
Changed Phones - If you have switched to a new phone, and the old phone with Vemail is no longer active, then you should not be billed for Vemail past our current mobile phone statement cycle. However, if you had Alerts/push email turned on, then you will still need to turn them Off to avoid text message charges. To do that Login here and select Alerts, then Off, then Save.
If you want to use Vemail on your new phone, then download Vemail, start it, and go to Settings, then Import Settings to get your old settings back.
