Email Attachment Support Now BREWed on Feature Phones

 

BREW Phone Users Now Have Access to Email Attachments Thanks to Voice Genesis Vemail 2.09 Mobile E-mail Software Now Available from Major BREW Carriers



Torrance, CA – April 1, 2008 – Voice Genesis, the company that delivers mobile e-mail that’s easy on the thumbs, today announced the availability of Voice Genesis® Vemail™  2.09 mobile email with attachment support, developed for Qualcomm’s BREWâ solution and now available from major BREW operators in the U.S. 

 

Voice Genesis Vemail breaks down the barriers between voicemail and e-mail, providing an easy and differentiated mobile e-mail experience that includes voice functionality.  Users can read e-mail and provide verbal responses, thereby avoiding the time consuming process of typing long e-mail messages on a phone’s keypad.  The verbal responses are delivered as a standard e-mail that includes a link, attachment, and phone number; recipients can simply click the link, open the attachment, or call the number to hear the sender’s voice.  Voice Genesis Vemail version 2.09 leverages BREW to also uniquely provide email attachment support, allowing users to view picture attachments, hear audio attachments, and read document attachment text.
